Security can't be an afterthought in the transformation of the data center. Companies are rapidly adopting virtualization, incented by the tremendous benefits it brings to static and inflexible data centers. Virtualization offers better utilization of server resources but also, more importantly, it creates an agile application platform that business can use to accelerate its deployment of new applications even while lowering operational costs.
